Simple and timeless, these earrings are quite special as, according to Spratling's biography "File on Spratling", this is one of his earliest designs. The earrings are two half-globes of 980 silver.

From the Collection of Phyllis M. Goddard, widely respected collector, researcher and author of books on William Spratling's works. 

Circa 1931-1946, First Design Period.

Each earring verso with hallmark of Spratling Silver in an oval cartouche. Each earring is approx. 5/8" in diameter. Screw backs. 

Very good condition; tiny nicks and surface scratches commensurate with age and use. Please see photos for condition details.
