Beautiful vintage Taxco Sterling Silver brooch! It was completely handmade, even the pinback. The design is a gorgeous stylized Mayan sun symbol, raised in silver against a black background. It's both rich in meaning and a timeless design. With both a pinback and a bale, it can be work as either a pin or as a pendant. Approx. 1.5" diameter. Weighs 12.8 grams. Signed with conjoined initials MB, Taxco Mexico, Eagle 3, 925. Excellent condition. A beautiful gift to brighten someone's day!
