Unique antique diamond and sapphire ring with an octagonal-shaped domed ring front. Four rectangular French cut blue sapphires surround a sparkling old European cut center white diamond. The 14k white gold setting is accented with hand-engraved palm leaves, milgrain, and openwork on the shoulders. Stamped with Stange Co. hallmark of an ornate letter S in a square cartouche. Further stamped 14K. Center diamond approx. 3.1mm diameter, 0.15ct, I, SI2. Weighs a total of 2.1g. Size 6.

The Stange Co. jewelry manufacturer was founded in 1919 by Ken Stange in St. Louis, Missouri. The company still exists today and now focuses on insignia, medals and decorations for heads of state and dignitaries and has produced jewelry for the State of Jordan, Queen Elizabeth II, and the King of Rwanda.

Good condition with wear commensurate with age and use. One sapphire has a surface chip that is visible under magnification.
