This lovely pendant features a whimsical undersea tableau of a swimming angelfish. The angelfish is composed of carved orange agate with natural color gradations that give the fish interesting striping. The fish is prong-set in 14k yellow gold against a large circular "sea" of jadeite. The fish has plenty of personality, blowing bubbles of gold from its mouth.
The pendant is approximately 49.89mm in diameter. The agate fish measures approx. 22x23mm. Weights a total of 26.7 grams. Appraised for $1430.
