Approx. 0.2ct Old European cut solitaire champagne diamond; 3.4mm in diameter.
Total ring weight 2 grams. Size 8.
The orange blossom jewelry motif was popularized in the 1800s when Queen Victoria married Prince Albert in 1840. She wore a wreath of orange blossoms in her hair and sprays of blossoms on her bodice. Her husband noticed her affinity for orange blossoms and gifted her with jewelry with the orange blossom motif throughout their years together, which she wore on every wedding anniversary. Orange blossoms have since become a tradition of royal family weddings.
Good condition. Under a jeweler's loupe you can see wear loss to one of the petal prongs, however the prong is still substantial and the stone is secure in the setting. Overall normal wear commensurate with age and use.
